A dimly lit, rundown bar sits in the center of an expansive desert, the only sign of life for miles. The camera angle is slightly elevated, giving the perspective of a bird’s eye view, yet close enough to give a sense of intimacy to the otherwise lonely establishment.

The entire scene is washed over in muted, sandy colors which are contrasted heavily with the antisolar, soft neon lights flickering from the windows and doorways of the bar, casting flickering, long shadows onto the sand.

Two seemingly ragged, yet resilient, figures emerge from the distance – silhouetted against the setting sun, their approach creating a balance on either side of the screen. There’s a clear focus on their journey towards the bar, their movement steady and determined, the camera slowly panning and tracking their approach.

Inside the bar, patrons are suspended in various states of metagenesis, the continuous cycle of night and day turned meaningless in this timeless oasis. Each newcomer adds to the collection of misfits, the newcomers’ entrance causing heads to turn, the bar’s interior mirroring the desolation outside – a direct contrast to the chaos of their previous biramose existence.

In this deliberate framing, the scene speaks volumes about loss, hope, transition, and the persistent human drive of survival.
